What can I expect from my first session?

Prior to starting your session, Elliot will reach out to discuss your fitness goals and what you hope to achieve with boxing. Together, we will create a plan to help you achieve your goals.

You will start out the session with a warm up then proceed to go into drilling specific boxing fundamentals such as footwork, proper punching technique, and defensive work. Each session will have an emphasis on a specific portion of boxing fundamentals.

After drilling these fundamentals, you will incorporate this into a live setting where we will move around while doing mitt work, using everything we learned during the session and putting it to the test.

You will finish with your choice of an explosive circuit or a boxing specific METCON (metabolic conditioning) exercise.

What do I need equipment wise?

All you need are boxing gloves and 180-inch wraps. If you don't have any, Elliot can recommend some on Amazon. 

I’ve never boxed or worked out in my life, is boxing for me?

Yes! EP Boxing has worked with many clients who have never put a pair of boxing gloves. It is amazing to see both the physical and mental changes that can happen just after a couple of sessions. It is a great workout for anyone, especially those who need to punch out the stress from a stressful job.

Is there parking?

Yes, parking is included.
